"Lovely long beach. Is quite a shallow beach, you have to walk for ages in the water to actually get beyond waist depth. Stretches for miles, is beautiful at sunrise and great for a walk in the winter sun. Great that car parking is restricted on the beach now. Plenty of parking a short walk from the beach. Needless to say in the summer, on the occasional day we get good weath..."

"Lovely beach in Bettystown Village. The sand is very fine and the beach is large and lonngggg. Ideal for an evening walk. The advantage is when you get into the water will increase the depth very progressive so you can walk up to 20m and the water won't be deeper then your hips. Recommended for recovery runs, inflamed legs and joint pains. A walk in the water will do miracle..."
