Spiaggia Dell'Osa is located on the Tyrrhenian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 17th place out of 69 beaches in the Grosseto region 24.2 km away from its center, the city of Grosseto. It is one of the beaches of Fonteblanda settlement, just 2.1 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains.
It is a long lasting coastline with blue water and brown sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors, partygoers, pet owners etc. It is not crowded place during the season. There is a campsite located nearby.
Despite the fact that a significant part of the beach is occupied by resorts, there is still a fairly large area with free access. The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. This area has also a water park in the sea with various inflatable toys which constitute excellent activities for parents and children. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.
