Le murgidas is located on the Tyrrhenian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 38th place out of 65 beaches in the Rome region 52.6 km away from its center, the city of Rome. It is one of the beaches of Santa Marinella settlement, just 0.9 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a small several bays coastline with blue water and gray pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.
