Grado Pineta is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 7th place out of 17 beaches in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region 30.6 km away from its center, the city of Triest. It is one of the beaches of Citta Giardino settlement, just 0.3 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

A significant part of the beach is occupied by beach clubs with limited access The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis.
