Spiaggia del Minareto is located on the Ionian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 11th place out of 45 beaches in the Siracusa region 2.8 km away from its center, the city of Siracusa. It is one of the beaches of Isola settlement, just 1.2 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area with very picturesque views.
It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and brown sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.
A significant part of the beach has a restricted access. The beach facilities are only available to hotel guests. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, changing rooms, showers, toilets. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.
