Poetto Beach is located on the Tyrrhenian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 5th place out of 26 beaches in the Cagliari region 5.4 km away from its center, the city of Cagliari. It is one of the beaches of Cuartu Sant'Aleni Quartu Sant'Elena settlement, just 3.1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.
It is a long lasting coastline with blue water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal.
