"This beach was great! Even on a busy Saturday, we were able to find a spot in the shade. Just be careful if you decide to go in the lake when the water is low, as the algae makes the rocks very slippery and it can be difficult to get out. The views of the mountains were stunning, and there were lizards everywhere!"

The beach isn't too crowded and there's a bar on-site, but there's almost no shade. The lake water is very warm in July."
