Appesbach Strand is located on the Wolfgangsee and it is in the 15th place out of 20 beaches in the Upper Austria region 88.5 km away from its center, the city of Linz. It is one of the beaches of Aschau settlement, just 0.8 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a straight coastline with crystal turquoise water and grass, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season. There is a campsite located nearby.
