Doksan Beach is located on the Sea of Japan (part of Pacific ocean) and it is in the 4th place out of 29 beaches in the South Chungcheong region The beach is located in an urban area, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a long lasting coastline with turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Doksan Beach is located in South Chungcheong within Gwandang-ri, which makes it not only easily accessible, but even popular among tourists. However, during the high season it is quite uncrowded, which allows you to spend a comfortable time on the coast.

The beach stretches on the sunny coast, within the boundaries of the settlement, it is not difficult to get to it. If your stay is located not far from the beach, you can reach it by walking. "This particular beach is an excellent spot for soaking up the sun's rays. It's worth noting that parking can be a bit of a challenge as there isn't a designated parking area, so finding a spot can be a bit tricky. On the bright side, if you're looking to stay overnight, there's a lovely pine forest where you can set up camp without having to pay a dime."
