Safari Island is located on the Laccadive Sea (part of Indian ocean) and it is in the 16th place out of 19 beaches in the Alif Alif region 34.7 km away from its center, the city of Rasdhoo. It is one of the beaches of Kandholhudhoo settlement, just 6 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.
It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and white sand, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.
