Playa Belyounech is located on the Strait of Gibraltar (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 16th place out of 68 beaches in the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region 39.8 km away from its center, the city of Tangier. It is one of the beaches of Belyounech settlement, just 0.4 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.
