Masapa Beach is located on the Pacific ocean and it is in the 6th place out of 6 beaches in the Carazo region 29.2 km away from its center, the city of Jinotepe. It is one of the beaches of Santa Emilia settlement, just 2.8 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.
It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and light fine pebble, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.
Masapa Beach coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature, changing rooms, showers, toilets. .

The Masapa Beach is covered with light small pebbles. It's very clean, the surface is pure and unmixed. Turquoise and clear water sparkles in the sun. The entrance to the water is convenient from small pebbles.
For the main activity - sunbathing, there are no sun loungers on the Masapa Beach, so you need to take personal items with you and there is a natural shade that can become a lifesaver on a hot day.
The entrance to the water is very smooth, the bottom is comfortable. The prevalence of sharks in the area is low.
The waves in the Masapa Beach are usually strong. The tides are high, so sometimes you have to cross several meters to get to the water.
So the overall recommendation of the Masapa Beach for swimming is positive.
