Tortuguilla Beach is located on the Caribbean Sea (part of South Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 6th place out of 14 beaches in the Colon region 12 km away from its center, the city of Colon. It is one of the beaches of La Union settlement, just 6.6 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade. This beach is not a well-known place, so it is well suited for a relaxing leisure.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and bright sand & rocks cover, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Tortuguilla Beach coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature, sea pool. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities, snorkeling.

This beach is easily accessible, it is located very close to road. Parking is located directly on the beach.

Tortuguilla Beach (Colon) is located outside the La Union settlement, which may cause some difficulties for travelers who stay far from the coast. However, the remoteness from the village is not always a bad thing. Lovers of quiet rest know, the farther the beach, the fewer crowds.

The beach stretches on the sunny coast and the easiest way to get to the beach is by car or bike.
