Praia do Pau is located on the North Atlantic Ocean (part of Atlantic ocean) and it is in the 40th place out of 123 beaches in the Algarve region 43 km away from its center, the city of Faro. It is one of the beaches of Porches settlement, just 4.1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area with very picturesque views, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and brown fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Praia do Pau coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .
