Vale Covo is located on the North Atlantic Ocean (part of Atlantic ocean) and it is in the 59th place out of 123 beaches in the Algarve region 47.5 km away from its center, the city of Faro. It is one of the beaches of Carvoeiro settlement, just 1.1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area with very picturesque views, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.
It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and bright sand & rocks cover, so it is highly recommended to wear special shoes. The entrance to the water is quite sharp. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.
Vale Covo coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .
