Praia da Duquesa is located on the North Atlantic Ocean (part of Atlantic ocean) and it is in the 22th place out of 41 beaches in the Lisbon Area region 24.2 km away from its center, the city of Lisbon. It is one of the beaches of Cascais settlement, just 0.6 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and white fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors etc. It is very crowded place during the season.

Praia da Duquesa coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. This area has also a water park in the sea with various inflatable toys which constitute excellent activities for parents and children. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities, sup-surfing.

Fans of active recreation can take part in beach volleyball.
