Starfish Beach is located on the Gulf of Thailand (part of South China Sea) and it is in the 21th place out of 53 beaches in the Kien Giang region 131.8 km away from its center, the city of Rach Gia. It is one of the beaches of Rach Vem settlement, just 0.9 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and white sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Despite the fact that a significant part of the beach is occupied by resorts, there is still a fairly large area with free access. The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis.

"The beach offers an awe-inspiring scenery, particularly during sunset. Regrettably, we only came across a couple of starfish during our visit. The path leading to the beach was extremely rough, riddled with bumps and gaping potholes. I strongly urge the authorities to construct a proper road to the beach, as navigating the unpaved path on a motorbike was an arduous task."

"This beach is just mind-blowing! The sand is so authentic, it's like you're walking on a cloud. The water is so shallow that you can practically walk to Vietnam's neighboring countries. If you're not into long walks, no worries, the starfish are practically at your feet. It's like having your own personal aquarium. This beach is the real deal, no need to deal with the resort..."
