Playa de las Redes is located on the Gulf of Cadiz (part of North Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 41th place out of 74 beaches in the Cádiz region 7.7 km away from its center, the city of Cadiz. It is one of the beaches of El Puerto de Santa Maria settlement, just 3.4 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.
It is a long bay with green water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. The Playa de las Redes is covered with soft and fine golden sand. It's very clean, the surface is pure and unmixed. The water near the beach is blue-green. The entrance to the water is also very convenient, covered with excellent fine sand.
For the main activity - sunbathing, there are no sun loungers on the Playa de las Redes, so you need to take personal items with you and there is no natural shade, so be careful on a hot day.
The entrance to the water is gentle, the bottom is comfortable. The prevalence of sharks in the area is low. In the season the beach is attended by lifeguard.
Playa de las Redes does not have a wave-protected swimming area, but there are usually no strong waves during the season. The tides are high, so sometimes you have to cross several meters to get to the water.
