Playa de Calahonda is located on the Alboran Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 74th place out of 92 beaches in the Malaga region 38.6 km away from its center, the city of Malaga. It is one of the beaches of Urbanizacion Torrenueva settlement, just 4.4 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.
