Playa Faro de Calaburras is located on the Alboran Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 34th place out of 92 beaches in the Malaga region 29.9 km away from its center, the city of Malaga. It is one of the beaches of Urbanizacion Playa Marina settlement, just 1.4 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

"Playa Faro de Calaburras is a beautiful spot, just off the highway, with plenty of stones. We had the pleasure of visiting twice in one week and were delighted to spot dolphins both days! The sand is a gorgeous shade of gray, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy."
