Playa Balerma is located on the Alboran Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 65th place out of 84 beaches in the Almeria region 40 km away from its center, the city of Almeria. It is one of the beaches of Guardias Viejas settlement, just 5.3 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a long bay with blue water and light fine pebble, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is quite sharp. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

Playa Balerma coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .
