Puerto de Tazacorte is located on the North Atlantic Ocean (part of Atlantic ocean) and it is in the 8th place out of 197 beaches in the Santa Cruz de Tenerife region 144.5 km away from its center, the city of Santa Ursula. It is one of the beaches of Tarajal settlement, just 0.5 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area with very picturesque views, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a spacious bay with crystal blue water and black sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

"This beach is one of the rare protected ones where swimming is allowed. It can get quite crowded, but I enjoyed strolling along the shore and grabbing some fish food at one of the terraces. Additionally, there is a microclimate in the area, which means the temperature is consistently 3 degrees higher compared to a location 5 kilometers away."
