Playa de Vallehermoso is located on the North Atlantic Ocean (part of Atlantic ocean) and it is in the 14th place out of 197 beaches in the Santa Cruz de Tenerife region 78.5 km away from its center, the city of Santa Ursula. It is one of the beaches of Tamargada settlement, just 2.1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area with very picturesque views, surrounded by the cliffs.
It is a straight coastline with crystal blue water and gray sand & rocks cover, so it is highly recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.
Despite the fact that a significant part of the beach is occupied by resorts, there is still a fairly large area with free access. The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, toilets, sea pool. .

"This location was a major letdown. The pool was closed and desolate, the sea was too rough for swimming, and there were no facilities. It was a real pain, especially considering there's a private beach resort nearby in Alojero that only opened a year ago, yet the swimming pool already lies in ruins. A visit here is simply not worth it."
