Praia America is located on the Atlantic ocean and it is in the 33th place out of 143 beaches in the Pontevedra region 36.7 km away from its center, the city of Pontevedra. It is one of the beaches of Panxon settlement, just 1.8 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.
It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.
Praia America coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, beach restaurant, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. This area has also a water park in the sea with various inflatable toys which constitute excellent activities for parents and children.
Please note, that this shore has a significant low tide.

Praia America is located in Pontevedra within Panxon, which makes it easily accessible and therefore popular among travelers. In the high season this may cause some discomfort, due to the large influx of tourists.
