Playa de Areoura is located on the Atlantic ocean and it is in the 14th place out of 25 beaches in the Lugo region 71.9 km away from its center, the city of Lugo. It is one of the beaches of A Ribela settlement, just 1.4 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and white sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Playa de Areoura coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

"This beach near A Ribela was a real gem - we were fortunate enough to have it all to ourselves for a few minutes during the height of summer. The beach was small, yet well-maintained. When the tide was low, you could even get access to a few caves that had been carved out by the sea's movement. It was a truly magical experience!"
