La Franca Beach is located on the Biscay bay (part of North Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 1th place out of 101 beaches in the Asturias region 102.9 km away from its center, the city of Oviedo. It is one of the beaches of La Franca settlement, just 0.8 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area with very picturesque views, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.
It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season. There is a campsite located nearby.
