Plage Salavaux is located on the Murten Lake and it is in the 4th place out of 46 beaches in the Vaud region The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season. There is a campsite located nearby.

"I had a fantastic time trying out kayaking for the first time at this beach. The weather was perfect, which made the experience even better. Renting a kayak was also reasonably priced and didn't break the bank. It only cost 25CHF to rent a transparent kayak for an hour."
