Sul Beach is located on the South Atlantic Ocean (part of Atlantic ocean) and it is in the 23th place out of 187 beaches in the Bahia region 211.7 km away from its center, the city of Salvador. It is one of the beaches of Ilheus settlement, just 3.8 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a long lasting coastline with turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season. Please note that the area nearby is possible for wild camping.

Sul Beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets, sea pool. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.
