Frades beach is located on the South Atlantic Ocean (part of Atlantic ocean) and it is in the 177th place out of 187 beaches in the Bahia region 25.2 km away from its center, the city of Salvador. It is one of the beaches of Loreto settlement, just 5.2 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.
It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal.
