Amontada Beach is located on the South Atlantic Ocean (part of Atlantic ocean) and it is in the 57th place out of 75 beaches in the Ceará region 147.5 km away from its center, the city of Fortaleza. It is one of the beaches of Icarai settlement, just 0.3 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. "The beach is stunning, like many others in Ceará, but I highly suggest checking out the Oysters Shack. You can enjoy affordable oysters and take a boat ride through the mangrove river to see the city's wildlife and plants, pass through the love tunnel, and admire the dunes. Additionally, there is another shack past the dunes that serves an incredible shell stew."
