A beautiful public/free beach along the Black Sea. It was quiet and not crowded at all when I was there. The Black Sea is known for its rage so it wasn't always conducive to swimming but sitting on the beach in the sun watching the waves crash was so peaceful and beautiful. Kocaali is a cute little beach town and perfect for a quiet, non-touristy getaway.
Kocaali Beach; It is one of the longest coastlines in Turkey. The length of the coast is approximately 14 kilometers. It is said among the public that its sand is beneficial for the healing of some rheumatic diseases. It attracts a lot of attention, especially during the summer months. There are many opportunities along the beach, such as food and beverage, accommodation, shopping and entertainment. You can walk along the beach or ride your bike. It is also possible to see sand lilies, which are especially protected, here. Since it is a public beach, it is free. Transportation is by asphalt road and can be visited in all seasons.
The beach is beautiful, the sea is beautiful, there are cabins, showers and toilets... Come well prepared, there is no eating, drinking, buffet etc... There is a shock market but it is inadequate...
The sea, sand and sand lilies are very beautiful. The municipality should take more sensitive and detailed measures regarding cleaning and garbage on the beach.
It is a quiet and peaceful town, but since it is located on the Black Sea coast, the sea is always wavy and unkempt, but you may prefer to relax like me.
