On a scorching Tuesday morning, my wife, a couple we met at the hotel, and I embarked on a journey to Pedra Furada via the Google maps trail. After a strenuous hike, we returned to the beach, where we spent the day relaxing. On Friday, I decided to explore the area further and ventured out to the spotted beach. As I studied the map, I noticed two more points of interest - the lighthouse and the friar stone. Excited to explore, I quickly made my way to the trail leading up to Pedra do Frade. Along the way, I encountered two Italian women who were lost and looking for the lighthouse. I helped them find their way, and we continued on our separate paths. The refreshing wind was a welcome relief, but I quickly realized that half a liter of water was not enough for the journey ahead.
