The beach was a breathtaking sight to behold. The water was so clear, the sand so soft, and the scenery so beautiful that it made for an idyllic day in the sun. There were a plethora of activities to partake in, such as snorkeling, kayaking, and beach volleyball. The beach was also immaculately clean and well-kept. The place where people go to get sand in their shoes, sunburn on their skin, and a healthy dose of disappointment in their hearts. Praia da Batata is no exception. Sure, there's a spring there. But let's be real, it's not like that's a rare occurrence. And who cares about a spring when you're surrounded by screaming children, littered sand, and overpriced beach umbrellas? Save your time and money, and skip this lackluster beach altogether.
