Itauna Beach II

This beach is absolutely stunning and is famous for hosting surfing championships. The sea here is quite powerful, but there is a spot close to the rocks where natural "swimming pools" are formed, providing a calmer experience. Families and children love to frequent this area. Additionally, this beach is currently in the running for the Blue Flag, a prestigious ecological award given to beaches, marinas, and tourist boats. Along the waterfront, you'll find various bars, restaurants, and kiosks that also offer chair and tent rentals. However, be aware that the weekends can get extremely crowded, so if possible, it's best to avoid going by car as parking can be quite challenging. The parking fee is 20 reais.

Wow, this is a place I really enjoy being at. However, it's a shame that there are no shower facilities available. The water here is quite dirty, which is disappointing. The beauty of this beach is solely attributed to Mother Nature, as the city hall seems to neglect any efforts to enhance this place.
