So, I stumbled upon this little patch of sand and water that people call a "beach." And let me tell you, it's quite the experience. The sun beats down on you like a relentless bully, leaving you with a nice, crispy tan (or a sunburn, if you're not careful). The water is refreshing, but also salty enough to make you feel like you just gargled with ocean water. And don't even get me started on the sand. It gets everywhere, in your shoes, in your hair, in your sandwich. But, hey, at least it's a good workout trying to walk on it. All in all, the beach is a unique kind of torture that we all seem to enjoy.
