Joaquina Beach
8 Exploring Excursions

The beach is alright, but it's quite crowded. If that's your thing, then it might be a good fit for you. The dunes in the background are a nice touch and if you climb up them, you'll be rewarded with a beautiful view of the beach. Additionally, the rocks on the left side of the beach are worth exploring.

Praia Do Gravata

This beach is tucked away and quite secluded, with no facilities. It takes a muddy 20-minute walk to get there, so it's not overly crowded. The views of the coast and Praia Mole are stunning.

Barra da Lagoa Beach

To me, this beach seems better suited for surfing. Additionally, the sand is a beautiful golden color and has a fine texture.

Galheta Beach

A stunning oasis where you can bask in the glory of Mother Nature and find inner peace. Sure, it's technically a nude beach, but don't let that scare you off. Only a handful of people were actually in the buff when we visited. Personally, I found it a bit awkward to keep my clothes on while others were letting it all hang out. It's a classic case of "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em." As for family-friendliness, well, let's just say there are other nudist spots that might be more up your alley.

Mole Beach
8 Santo Nuvo

The beach boasts of ample space and breathtaking vistas. However, it is worth noting that the gusty winds could be a bit of a challenge, and the water might be chilly for some.

What a delightful stretch of sand! Whether you prefer to park your tush on the beach or take in the view from higher ground, this spot has got you covered. And if you're feeling peckish, fear not - there are some quaint little eateries perched atop the nearby hill. What a treat!
