I was robbed at gunpoint coming up from the beach back to our car. 4 men robbed us and stole our wallets, phones, wedding rings, and OUR CAR. They left us stranded here. Avoid this beach.

My experience at the beach was a complete disaster! Let me save you the trouble, do not even think about parking your car on Av Amendoeiras street (just around the corner) from Praia Pernambuco. Trust me, you will regret it! They charge a whopping 80 reias for parking and to add insult to injury, they have a so-called "shower" that is guarded by a man who acts like he's in charge of the water supply. Despite being advertised as a fresh water bath, they strictly prohibited us from using it to clean our children's toys. Apparently, it's only meant for washing feet and even that is limited to a measly 3 minutes. Oh, and if you dare to exceed the time limit, you better make sure to mark it on the door. The worst part? The owners make empty promises and do not deliver, leaving you feeling cheated and frustrated. To top it off, a woman who claimed to be the owner
