I was robbed at gunpoint coming up from the beach back to our car. 4 men robbed us and stole our wallets, phones, wedding rings, and OUR CAR. They left us stranded here. Avoid this beach.

The easiest option is through Sítio Mato Grosso (aka Fazenda dos buffaloes), but be warned - you'll need to cross someone's private property to get there. The second trail is a bit more challenging, starting at the right costão on Guaiuba beach and taking about 2 hours to complete. And if you're really up for a challenge, the third and farthest trail starts at the beginning of Santa Cruz road and takes
