This beach is a fantastic hidden find! It's spacious with plenty of shady areas. The water is incredibly calm. The shuttle bus to the beach is very convenient to use, and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. An added bonus is the opportunity to spot some animals on the way to the beach!

This spot was fantastic for snorkeling. We had the opportunity to observe numerous marine creatures in their native environment. Along the shoreline, we also encountered some wildlife, including a White Faced Monkey (Capuchin) and Coati, which are similar to a Raccoon. All in all, it was an exceptional experience!

This beach is truly lovely and peaceful! I stayed here during the first week of May and it definitely lived up to my expectations. Additionally, it's conveniently located less than 30 minutes away from Liberia airport. The sunset is absolutely breathtaking!

Cabuyal beach

This is the best beach we've visited in the Guanacaste area! The sand is white, the water is incredibly clean and pristine. The road to get here is good, but there are very limited parking spots available. We visited on a weekday during winter, and it was just us and two other families.

We got to the beach at around 9 am and had the pleasure of enjoying this incredible spot with just two other individuals. We decided to rent a small Chevrolet, which handled the dirt road perfectly fine with the three of us inside. To get to the beach, there is a steep path from the parking area that can be managed in flip flops, although it's easier with trainers. The rocky areas at both ends of the beach offer excellent opportunities for snorkeling.
