Flamingo Beach

Excellent beach, but you need to walk about half an hour from Tamarindo Beach. Definetely recomended!

Conchal Beach

We had a great time at Playa Conchal beach. The sand varies between coarse sand on the western side and small shells on the eastern side. Although there are quite a few vendors to deal with, the beach itself is stunning.

Zapotillal Beach

The road leading to the beach is not suitable for sedans, and there are no signs or markers indicating which entrance to choose.

Brasilito Beach

Behold, a stunning stretch of sand that is as vast as it is unpopulated. The water temperature is a balmy 30C, and since the beach is nestled in a bay, the waves are not what one would call "titanic". This makes for a tranquil swimming experience, as the water is as smooth as a baby's bottom. In short, I would wholeheartedly recommend a visit to this slice of paradise. 👌

Danta Beach
9 Lila Castaneda

The crystal-clear water of this beach is a sight to behold, with gentle waves that make it perfect for families with young children. The hike to get here is short and easy, and there's also another beach nearby called Dantita that's definitely worth the extra effort to reach. Alternatively, during low tide, you can cross over to Dantita by navigating through the rocks.

Punta de Pelencho

The beach was peaceful and secluded, providing a pleasant escape from the usual hustle and bustle. My youngest daughter and I had a great time playing in the waves, while my husband and oldest daughter enjoyed exploring the beach, searching for seashells and tide pools. Although the road leading to the beach was bumpy, we noticed a few cars parked there.
