Ayia Thekla - all beaches

The beauty of this place is indescribable, and it is something that must be experienced firsthand. During my visit, the beach was relatively quiet, but I suspect it can get quite crowded during peak season in July and August. The cost of renting two sun beds and an umbrella is only 7.50€, which is a reasonable price compared to other countries where similar services can cost up to 30€.

This beach is my absolute favourite in Cyprus. It boasts the same stunning beauty as Nissi Beach, but with a quieter, more family-friendly atmosphere. The cost of sun beds for the day is a very reasonable 2.50€.

Should you desire a little extra comfort, you have the option to rent an umbrella and sunbed at a reasonable cost. The beach is ideal for both snorkeling and swimming, and the crystal-clear waters are sure to offer a refreshing break from the heat.

The beach is receiving ratings lower than five stars because it lacks sand, or has very little of it. Nevertheless, it is definitely worth a visit. It is a breathtaking part of the town, especially if you are going for a pleasant early morning jog. I have gone for several runs along this beach, paused for a while to admire the views, and even tried out some electric bikes on the boardwalk...it was so enjoyable! The location is ideal for relaxation and appreciating the beauty of Cyprus, while also capturing some stunning photographs. Make sure to check it out!
