The lake is situated in a picturesque location and offers various amenities such as a swimming area, a jetty, a separate pond for non-swimmers, a diving tower, and a children's playground. Additionally, there is a snack bar with clean toilets and changing rooms. The food, drinks, and ice cream available are reasonably priced. From late spring to autumn, the beach hosts events every two weeks on Saturdays, featuring live music, fire shows, and more. The dedicated tenant, Chris, and his wife Ina, ensure that visitors have a delightful experience. Whether it's summer or any other time of the year, the lake is definitely worth a visit. I'm already excited for the next season.
This beach is absolutely stunning. It's perfect for children to have fun splashing around in the water. The water is mostly transparent, allowing you to catch a glimpse of fish swimming beneath the surface. The beach is quite flat, making it convenient for parents to sit on the sand and keep an eye on their kids as they play. The parking fees are very affordable, and there is no entrance fee. The only cost is for the toilets, where you can obtain a key from the bistro and pay just 50 cents. However, the toilets were also spotlessly clean. We visited on a Sunday and it was pleasantly uncrowded, providing ample space both in the water and on the grassy area. It was truly a fantastic day for swimming. I would suggest bringing mosquito spray, as there are occasional visits from these pesky insects.
