Heikendorf - all beaches

This place is absolutely stunning.

The bathing area is actually quite nice, especially with the addition of a new jetty this year. The playground is also very pleasant. There are plenty of parking spaces available as well. However, there is a downside due to the geese issue. Goose droppings are scattered everywhere, making it difficult to lay out a blanket and enjoy the meadow comfortably. Walking barefoot across the meadow is out of the question.

This particular beach is a natural wonder that boasts stunning vistas and a serene atmosphere. While there may be other beaches that are considered more beautiful, this one has its own unique charm and allure. It's a place where you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature. Whether you're looking to relax and soak up the sun or take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters, this beach has something for everyone. While it may not be the most popular or well-known beach in the area, it's definitely worth a visit for anyone seeking a peaceful and rejuvenating experience.

I absolutely adored this charming beach. It evoked a sense of a quaint coastal town in California. The climate was just right and the water was surprisingly pristine, surpassing my initial expectations.

I highly recommend taking a stroll along the Kiel beaches, passing by the Bülk lighthouse and the Stohl cliffs, and ending at the Schilksee lido. The beach boasts light sand with pebbles, making it a unique and enjoyable experience.

Ideal for families with young ones, as the water is shallow and the sandy shoreline stretches far and wide. 👍
