The beach spans 8 kilometers and is considered the finest and most extensive beach in Lesvos. Although there are several beach bars, there is still ample room for those who prefer to swim without the crowds. Overall, it is a serene location.

This serene and picturesque beach, located just beyond Plomari, boasts complimentary sunbeds and umbrellas courtesy of the three nearby taverns. The water is exceptionally clear, though the only downside is the presence of stones. However, the tavernas have ingeniously created a sandbag pathway to the water's edge. Whether you're in the mood for a refreshing swim, a sweet treat, or a delicious seafood meal, everything you desire is within arm's reach, right beside the tranquil sea.

We have been visiting Thalassa for more than 5 years now. It has consistently been a popular spot with amazing cocktails crafted by Yannis. Their menu offers a delightful blend of Greek and international cuisine, ensuring that there is something delicious for everyone. The service provided by the servers, particularly Aspa, has always been exceptional. She is an absolute sweetheart and goes above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Thalassa is a wonderful family-owned establishment that exudes a warm and friendly atmosphere. We absolutely adore Thalassa.

This beach is stunningly secluded and features convenient shower facilities. However, visitors should be aware that there are no dining options such as a canteen or tavern available.
