Paralia Karinta

This charming beach is adorned with unique pink and orange pebbles and cobbles, setting it apart from other beaches in Chios that boast white or black pebbles, like Mavra Volia. A small canteen, run by a mother and her young daughter, offers a few sun-beds that remain open all day long. The refreshing west wind ensures clear skies when the city of Chios and the north are experiencing rain. The journey to reach this idyllic spot takes around 10-15 minutes by car, and while the road may be narrow and winding, the destination is well worth the trip.

The beach is a picturesque spot with a serene atmosphere, and it's not overcrowded. It's not a commercialized area, so you won't find vendors selling water or other items. However, if you're lucky enough to have a clear sky, you'll be able to witness a breathtaking sunset.
