Was the beach a beautiful shade of blue or more of a turquoise color? We decided to walk from Pigadia to Amoopi, and surprisingly, it was doable. As we made our way up, we enjoyed a lovely view of the town. The walk turned out to be shorter than we had anticipated. Unfortunately, Amoopi lacks shops or a central area. To return to the city, it's advisable to check the bus schedules to avoid any disappointments. Overall, it seems that public transportation options are quite limited.
There is a lovely sandy beach located near Arkassa, which happens to be the only beach on the island that offers a Beachvolley Court. The beach restaurant is quite cool and refreshing.
