Melitsachas beach

This is our go-to beach! It's a pebble beach with a nice, smooth texture. It's mostly frequented by locals and families, so there's no hassle while you're trying to unwind. When you're ready for a bite to eat, there are a few tavernas right by the shore. They also have a spicket available to rinse off your feet, and you can rent chairs if you need them, although most people bring their own. The water gets deeper after about 2-3 meters.

Paradise!

Therma beach II

We absolutely loved this restaurant and have tried everything on the menu - it's all excellent. We highly recommend it!

Gefira beach

This stunning beach is a mere 10-minute stroll from the port and boasts refreshingly cool waters. However, it's important to note that some reviews may have confused it with the nearby Thermos Beach. While Gefyra Beach doesn't offer a tavern, it does provide a pleasant respite from the sun under the shade of the surrounding trees. There are a handful of old sun loungers and a shower available for use. The crystal-clear waters are truly picturesque, especially with the towering pine trees looming overhead. To access the beach, simply take the stairs on the right side of the road (if coming from the port) and pass under the wooden gate labeled Gefyra.

When planning a trip to Therma beach in Kalymnos, it's important to note that the images you may have seen online are actually of Kos, not Kalymnos. To avoid any confusion, I have included authentic photos of the genuine beach for your reference.

This beach is a small and peaceful spot with only a few sun chairs and umbrellas available for a reasonable price. Even during the summer, it's not crowded, and it's the only beach on Telendos where you can catch the sun until it sets. The waves can be a bit bigger due to the wind coming from the open sea, but there are rocks in the water that make it perfect for diving. There is less seagrass here than at other beaches on Telendos. The stairs down to the beach are made of concrete, but it may not be suitable for handicapped individuals.
