Megisti - all beaches

My family and I stayed at this beach for five nights. Despite reading positive reviews, my expectations were not met. We paid 15,000 liras for our stay, but it was not worth the money. The reception staff were not friendly, nice, or interested. However, the cleaners were great. The hotel is located in a good area, away from the chaos of Kas central, but it is only a five-minute drive away and not within walking distance. If you drive to town, it is difficult to find a parking spot, so taking a cab is your best option. The rooms were old but acceptable. The pool was very basic, and the pool bar was still closed. The beach was nice, but not suitable for children. The breakfast was average, with the same options every day for five days. Tea was complimentary, but they charged for everything else. The hotel has a problem with wasps, which need to be addressed. They constantly hover over your head during breakfast and even land on your plate. Even when you go up to the pool, you are not safe from them as they are everywhere. Another major issue is the useless wifi. I had to rely on my own data throughout my stay. This beach is the best of the best and we absolutely love it! It's affordable, clean, and we never have trouble finding parking. It's definitely a great value.
