Lefkes - all beaches

While it may not be the top (pebble) beach on the island, it is certainly larger than Agia Anna and boasts easy access to crystal-clear water, as well as some natural shade provided by caves and a tree. The real highlight, however, is the stunning sunset that can be enjoyed thanks to its ideal westerly orientation. For those with children, there's even an ancient harbor installation on the right where they can jump off and have some fun. And if you're feeling adventurous, there's even a second beach that can be reached by swimming.

Upon arrival, the sight is truly awe-inspiring: a genuine lagoon with calm, shallow waters that are sheltered from the wind and waves. A handful of boats are anchored nearby, adding to the picturesque scenery. However, the actual beach is somewhat haphazard, and not particularly pleasurable. While the journey to reach this location is certainly enjoyable, when compared to the other superb beaches on the island, it's difficult to recommend.

This island's beach is simply phenomenal! Although there is a brief 10-minute hike to get there, the breathtaking view is worth every step. And don't forget to indulge in a delightful meal at the top-notch tavern.

This beach in Cyclades is definitely one of my favorites. It's a cozy spot nestled under some rocks with a charming church nearby. The black stones in the water create a serene and almost otherworldly atmosphere.

Venturing down a rocky path, a mere distance away from the other mainstream beach, lies a spot where nature enthusiasts can let it all hang out. However, be warned, the wind whips up a storm, leaving you feeling like a tumbleweed in the desert. But if you're brave enough to take the plunge, the refreshing waters will provide a much-needed respite from the sweltering summer heat.
