This sandy shoreline is located quite a distance from the island, but the thirty minute ride on the mini bus service is well worth the trip for a day of relaxation. Additionally, there is a charming traditional tavern nearby where you can enjoy a break from the sun. The beach boasts soft white sand with a scattering of small pebbles and the water is a breathtaking shade of clear Acquamarina.

We tried out a variety of beaches during our stay, but ultimately settled on one that was marked on the official Donoussa Island Map at the Port. However, upon arriving at the beach, we were disappointed to find it littered with garbage. Despite its initial appearance as a beautiful and secluded spot, the amount of waste present was truly shocking. While it's not uncommon for beaches on the north side of the island to accumulate some litter due to the waves, the extent of the trash on this beach was alarming. It was clear that this wasn't just a recent issue, but rather a problem that had persisted for years. We couldn't help but wonder why the island's municipal authorities and tourism offices weren't doing more to monitor the beaches listed on their maps. All in all, it was a disappointing experience and a sad reflection of the state of this otherwise beautiful island.
